Downtown LA

Not the ideal area to find the best coochie, however, you will find Wurstkuche!!!!! Located in the arts district of downtown Los Angeles this upbeat “exotic sausage grill” can put two hot buns around my german sausage any day of the week! Ok lets get serious now, the best place I can get my sausage on is at Wurstkuche. It might not be the most glamourous kuche, but oooo does it do me good! haha Alright. Alright. I am done with the naughty jokes.

Get your Sausage on!

Kucheee this… This place kills it. Two thumbs up to the owners of this fantastic restavention. These sausages, mixed with their craft brews on tap will have you salivating from the front door to the exit sign and beyond. Not only is the food good but the audience while you are eating is so eccentric. This is like a grown ups cafeteria, seriously, the seating area has long extended benches with people jammed close stuffing raging food down their wind pipes while beer cheers-ing! Better yet, you won’t get a detention for sneaking booze under the table at this cafeteria!

They serve a wide variety of sausages from the traditional Bratwurst or Hot Italian to Filipino Marharlika or Rattlesnake & Rabbit with Jalapeno Peppers!! How about a Alligator & Pork smoked Andouille Sausage!!! Geeeez, some very different and interesting mixes that most people will not attempt, but TRUST ME they are worth it. Or you can live life like a “droopy eyed armless child” and just “normalize” everything by getting one of the standard wieners. All sausages come with your choice of two toppings; Caramelized Onions, Sauerkraut, Sweet Peppers, or Spicy Peppers. Oh and by the way, ALL of their mustards and dressings are homemade.

We started with the Bratwurst with sauerkraut and spicy mustard. SURPRISINGLY, this was the worst one we had, but it was still a 7. From there, we bumped up to the Austin Blues with Spicy Peppers. This one had some good kick to it and definitely got my taste buds to wake up and join the party. Our favorite ‘Meat’ of the night was the HOT (HAWT) Italian. Ummmm pork with spices, topped with spicy peppers and spicy mustard… Yes, it was spicy, and yes, it was KILLER. When you go definitely indulge in this choice, especially if you enjoy good, spicy, italian sausages. WE couldn’t be done after all of that right ?!?!? Of course not. So we ended with the Rattlesnake. I AM A FAN!  It was very smooth and soft, unlike any of the others. It had great taste and with the sweet peppers and mustard it was a perfect wiener to finish the girlfriends off. Haha life is gooood check this spot out and keep your taste buddies a RAGING!
