Fast. Fresh. Indian. Yes that’s right, this ain’t no Chi PO-Tay.  Aren’t you tired of all the “Fresh Mex” anyways? You know… La Salsa, Baja Fresh, Chi Po Tay. Well, thank you Saffron for bringing something new to my buds. Although we are not huge advocates of a more corporate feel, we like your style….and your food.

The Video Says it all. The Mango Lassi was raging and the tandoori chicken was perfectly cooked. All the sauces were awesome and the garlic naan that came in that little packet was yummmmy! My favorite was the chicken curry that I picked up with some fresh naan. The only downside is no vindaloo and no lamb :( .  The concept is cool and gets people to venture out to try some Indian for lunch instead of a damn burrito. Much healthier choice.  I thought it was the perfect scene for getting in and out on the cheap with a belly full of fresh Indian!

  1. What’s up with that seemingly Arizonian anti-Mexican subliminal message 10 seconds into the video?

  2. Yes. That’s a reference to the fact that this is not mexican food. There are always a ton of Fast. Fresh. Mexican food restaurants popping up but this is Indian. Dont dig any deeper than that.
